San Pietro (Church in the Mountain)
Pieve di San Pietro di Carnia: Driving time 15-20 min from the house.
The church is located on the mountain top 'above' and South of the house. There are lovely views down the valley with River But. Enter the cemetery behind the church - interesting.
You may also drive up to Cabia (right on the map). Again, there are great views into the valley.
Both roads are asphalt coated and not difficult to drive.
